Linktr – Themes & Customization
Linktr is a free social networking reference tool based on community driven content websites. It is a website which has a great following of users due to its user friendly design and user friendly features. The best part of Linktr is that it is completely free to use. In order to get started with Linktr, you can simply sign up for an account. After that, you can then start developing and posting blogs, messages, and other information on Linktr.
In order to be able to do all this, however, you will first have to make your profile visible on the Linktr website. Once that is done, you can then invite others to add themselves as a friend. These individuals can then add their comments, blog posts, and other messages to your profile. This all adds up to a large amount of content on Linktr, which we will refer to as ‘landing pages.’ There are two types of landing pages on Linktr.
Step one is to create a new page. This is done by clicking on the ‘Create’ link. Step two is to name your new page. You can use your website’s name or your business’ name. Step three is to click on the ‘Pages’ link under the ‘Create’ link. That is where you will locate the entire Google Analytics settings.
The next step is to select the type of content which you wish to track. If you are looking for people to follow, you can select the’follower/subscriber’ option. If you are looking for a conversation starter, you can select the ‘new page’ option. If you are looking for a simple landing page for introduction to the site, you can select the’Discussion’ option. These are just a few of the ‘customization options’ that you have at your finger tips.
After you have created the new page, you can now proceed to the section where you will set up your Linktr account. If you have already set up your Linktr profile, you will need to input your username and / or email address. The next step is to choose a username and / or email address for the Linktr profile. This is the section where you upload your picture, video, blog entry, instagram link and any other information that you wish to be associated with your account. The last step is to save this profile. Once you have saved the profile, you will be able to see it in the navigation section.
If you are looking for a good way to advertise your business, Linktr offers a free version called Linktr Lite. This version has been developed to look and function very much like the standard Linktr service, but it has been stripped of all of the bells and whistles that come with the standard service. In addition, this free version does not feature any social media integration. There are many other social media sites which use Linktr’s ‘branding’ platform, so you may want to consider using the’Lite’version to start off with. This will allow you to build up your brand as you begin to build your own following on Linktr and social media sites.
After you have set up your Linktr profile, you can now go ahead and add new links. This step is pretty self explanatory, just copy the URL of one of your favorite websites and insert it into the text box. After you have done this, you will be given the opportunity to customize the link by changing the color scheme, adding a border, customizing the ‘color fill’ color, adding your Linktr logo, changing the style of text and finally adding your anchor text. All of these options can be found under the ‘Behavior’ section of your account. To help make the process of adding new links easier, Linktr provides a handy list of items that can be modified.
If you wish to take things a step further, you can also enhance the functionality of your Linktr profile by setting up a’Landing Page’that has a link to your site, as well as a linkback to your site. With the advanced features that are included in the ‘Waterfall’ customizer option of Linktr, you can include many different visualizations of your landing page, or you can simply hide or reveal the graphics as needed. By turning on the ‘Depth of Field’ option, you can show/hide all of the elements of your webpage, or you can change the appearance based upon whether you want a more detailed analytics tracking of exactly where people are clicking your link. With all of these customization options available to you, it really is easy to personalize the look and feel of your Linktr page and its associated landing page.
